Violeta Luca

Violeta Luca is the General Manager of Microsoft Romania, since November, 2018, having a wealth of senior leadership expertise in sales, general management, marketing and operations. Violeta has a remarkable career track record as a manager within Microsoft Romania and also Whirlpool, Flanco, eMAG and Metro Cash & Carry Romania.

In her current role, Violeta pursues development initiatives that facilitate digital transformation in all its aspects in Romania and the expansion of Microsoft’s business ecosystem of partners by encouraging local innovation, integrating good regional and global practice and promoting an organizational culture based on collaboration, diversity and lifelong learning.

Digital transformation is not simply about technology—it requires re-envisioning existing business models within companies and embracing a different way of bringing together people, data, and processes to create value for their customers.
